This ECD event will provide a brief introduction to the work of featured guest Michael Rohd’s engagement with civic dramaturgy. Throughout his decades-long career, Rohd has brought his skills and assets as a theatre-maker to different communities, listening to them and working with them to make social, civic, and political change in ways that use the processes of theatre-making in non-theatre spaces. By providing crucial contexts about the discussion, this crash course hopes to empower ECDs to take an active part in the conversation between Rohd and LMDA member LaRonika Thomas.
