Ken Cerniglia is dramaturg and literary manager for Disney Theatrical Group, where since 2003 he has developed over fifty shows for professional, amateur and school productions, including THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, ALADDIN, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER and NEWSIES. A founding member of Two Turns Theatre Company, he directed its inaugural production of THE TURN OF THE SCREW at the Merchant's House Museum in 2010. Current freelance dramaturgy projects include MONTICELLO WAKES (Fisher Ensemble), OLIVERIO: A Brazilian Twist on Dickens (Kennedy Center), HADESTOWN (New York Theatre Workshop) and BRIDGES (Berkeley Playhouse). Ken is co-founder of the American Theatre Archive Project and president-elect of Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas. He holds a Ph.D. in theater history and criticism from the University of Washington and presents and publishes his research internationally.
